The inauguration of yet another prestigious triathlon brand in the Philippines demonstrates the country’s growing popularity as a destination for world class triathlon racing.
The Challenge Family has finally arrived in the Philippines with a half distance race of 1.9-km swim, 90-km cycle, and 21-km run on February 22, 2014 in Subic. Side events include the Challenge Charity and Community Fun Run, Challenge Philippines Kids, and Junior Aquathlon. Visit challengephilippines.com.ph for more information.
Why take up the Challenge? How is Challenge different from other popular triathlon events?
David Voth, CEO of Endurance Entertainment Asia, Inc. (co-founder and former President of World Triathlon Corporation, which organizes and licenses Ironman), declares Challenge as more than just a race. Participants are not just “a number with us. You are family.” Participants are allowed to cross the finish line with their families. Voth also shares, “It is a week long activity for the entire family. It is also a race for a cause.” Participants may choose which causes to support.
Pinoy triathletes should be pleased to note that EEA has licensed the Challenge-Family brand in the Philippines for 10 years! Read More →

Was with the chase pack and had a great swim!
I was with 2 Japanese girls and a girl from Kazakhstan during the whole bike leg. Off the bike I was in 3rd place. I had a good bike also
My run was not that good :p
